Green with VICI

Hi guys! I have not been on here in forever! So sorry! I'm counting down until my wedding--less than 5 months now and I've just been super busy getting everything organized and going over details. 

I know everyone is getting ready for spring and showing bathing suits already but where I am, we are still dealing with 30 degree days! I wanted to post about this green oversize sweater from VICI. I starting buying some clothes from them and I love all of their stuff! Their prices are terrific and they have so much to choose from! I wish I could buy all the stuff I want from them, but then I wouldn't have any money to pay for the wedding! LOL

This sweater does have a boxy look to it. I wore a turtleneck underneath to keep me extra warm as I couldn't fit any jackets over it due to its thickness. I'm wearing a s/m for reference. Flannel

Hey friends! This week is flying by and I cannot wait for this weekend! I am meeting some friends out on Friday night and possibly going to the movies on Saturday. Has anyone seen Shut In yet??? I love scary movies and am dying to see this! Let me know if it's any good!

On to today's post.....Now I love dressing up as much as the next girl, but sometimes I just want a more relaxed look. I can't tell you how much I love wearing flannels. My collection is seriously growing. In 1997 when I was in ninth grade, flannels were in because I remember wearing a bunch of them with cargo pants. You know...the grunge look...LOL Does anyone else remember that? Then it seemed they went away for a bit and then...yay!!...they are back again! But now in a more polished look. I get my flannels from a variety of stores such as Bevello, Francesca's, American Eagle, Target, and Old Navy which is where the one I'm wearing is from.

Flannels are so great for layering. I love putting a tank and long sleeve shirt on underneath and then adding a vest on top. When I saw this green one I was so excited! This particular shade is hard to come by. Right now this flannel is on sale for $20!!!! Use the code WARM! It comes in many other colors. I also got it in red too!! Also loving the vest?? Well, you're in luck because I got this from Old Navy too! I actually did not own a black vest before this and I wanted just a basic black one (with no hood) that was on the thicker side. Shaker Knit Sweater

Hey Guys! So first off I apologize for the watermarks on some of these pictures. I have tried for a week now to get these off. I even had the IT deparment where I work to try and figure out what is going on but no such luck. Has anyone else had an issue like this? If so, any idea on how to fix it? 

Even though it is super annoying, I still wanted to get these photos out of this sweater from Express before it's sold out! How adorable is this pink sweater! Perfect for a cool day. You can wear it off the shoulder like I did here with a pair of skinnies and heels or more casual with flats, boots, or even sneakers! This is a great piece to even layer with. I love how it comes up on the sides and is long enough so that you could even wear with leggings. It also comes in black. Right now Express is doing a buy one get one for $19.90!! How awesome is that deal! I definitely need to get a few more sweaters so this would be the time to do it!

Cozy Sweater

Hello all! I am back from vacay and now playing catch up on....well....everything! I went down to NC to visit my dad and have to say it was time away that was much needed! I tried to focus on having fun and not think about anything stressful. Sometimes ya just need a couple days to unwind and get away to recharge.

Turquoise Heels

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a terrific weekend!

These shoes are just too pretty! Look at this color! The turquoise is so perfect for summer. They will brighten up any outfit. I chose to wear a basic white tee but I think you can wear these with a lot of different colors. I actually have a dress with a bunch of colors in it including hints of turquoise that would look awesome with these shoes. Now I just have to find somewhere to wear it to! The bag is actually old but coincidentally matches perfectly with these shoes! I couldn't believe how spot on it is. The greatest thing about these shoes is that they are on sale for $39.98!!!!!
